We are pleased to announce the upcoming hybrid launch of the 2024 Network Readiness Index (NRI) at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. The global launch event will feature a presentation revealing the latest global digital transformation trends and country rankings, an engaging panel discussion exploring the role of public-private partnerships in fostering global digital readiness, followed by an audience Q&A session, and a networking reception.

This year’s report highlights the transformative power of public-private partnerships in building global digital readiness and developing supportive, future-forward policies. With international organizations playing a vital role in supporting these initiatives, the report explores successful examples of digital growth worldwide, showcasing how advanced technologies like AI and Cloud Computing drive sustainable digital infrastructures. Through a focus on synergy among public entities, private expertise, and international support, it presents robust frameworks for fostering scalable, efficient, and sustainable digital progress on a global scale.

The 2024 edition of the Network Readiness Index is published by Portulans Institute and Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in collaboration with our Knowledge Partners: Amazon Web Services (AWS) and CNI – Confederação Nacional da Indústria.

First launched in 2002 with the World Economic Forum, and redesigned in 2019 by its founders Soumitra Dutta and Bruno Lanvin, the Network Readiness Index is an in-depth analysis of 133 countries’ performance across four dimensions of digital readiness – technology, people, governance, and impact – using 54 indicators.
