Manas Arora is a Research Analyst at the Portulans Institute, where he contributes to the Institute’s research initiatives through data analysis, indicator development, and quantitative research supporting flagship publications and global benchmarking projects. His work focuses on evaluating the factors that drive talent competitiveness, innovation capacity, and sustainable economic performance across countries.
His research interests include economic development, human capital, labor markets, innovation, competitiveness, and the role of technology in shaping economic growth and productivity. Prior to joining Portulans, he gained experience in equity research and investment analysis through internships in the financial services sector.
Manas holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Finance from Christ University, Bangalore, India, and has successfully completed the CFA Level I examination.
