Ioanna Georgia Eskiadi

Research area: impact of immersive media on societies

Ioanna Georgia Eskiadi is a Ph.D. Candidate at the Department of Journalism and Media Communication at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and is focused on new emerging technologies, communication and journalism. She is a Research Assistant in the same university where she is occupied in different research programs and in project management. Also, she is part of the Digital Communication Network (DCN) Global and freelancer journalist. She holds a Master of Arts in Risk Communication and Crisis Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Media, and Communication cum laude with praise of excellence from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She has been awarded with scholarships for her undergraduate and postgraduate studies and has been part of fellowships for various organizations. She holds strong in research, communication, and media management gained through her work in NGOs, public and private sectors, and international organizations. She is fluent in Greek, English, German, Italian, Spanish and Arabic.
