Sylvie Antal is a Policy Research and Communications Associate with prior experience in children’s online safety, consumer education, and technology for international development. She is an advocate for ethical and inclusive solutions and policies that make digital experiences safe and accessible for all populations.
At Portulans Institute, she is responsible for monitoring relevant policy developments, assisting with research, developing outreach strategy and collaborations, and coordinating the Fellowship programs. She is also the producer of the Immersive Explorers Podcast.
Sylvie holds a bachelors degree in Information Science from the University of Michigan’s School of Information and a masters degree in Human-Computer Interaction. Prior to joining Portulans, she interned at the U.S. Federal Communications Commission and the Family Online Safety Institute in Washington, DC.
